Georgetown Day Mighty Hoppers (Washington, DC) supporters left the game pleased Thursday as they saw their softball squad thwart the host Connelly School of the Holy Child (Potomac, MD), 20-2 in a league game.
With the triumph, Georgetown Day improves its record to 4-0 on the year. The Mighty Hoppers host St. Stephen's & St. Agnes (Alexandria, VA) to play the Saints in a game on Tuesday, April 8. The Saints enter the game with a record of 0-0.
