The Franklin Wildcats softball squad (Elk Grove, CA), was routed 8-2 in Thursday's non-league contest with the host McQueen Lancers (Reno, NV)

With the triumph, McQueen improves its record to 3-4 on the year. The Lancers travel to Heritage (Brentwood, CA) to face the Patriots in a non-league contest on Friday, March 28. The Patriots enter the contest with a record of 1-3. Heritage won 7-6 in their recent non-league contest against Arroyo (San Lorenzo, CA)

The Wildcats now hold a 8-4 record. They play next when they travel to Carson for a non-league contest on Friday, March 21. Franklin will face a Senators squad coming off a 5-0 non-league win over Dayton (Dayton, NV). The Senators record now stands at 6-4.
