The Friday Harbor Wolverines triumphed over the visiting Squalicum Storm softball squad by a count of 16-4 in Thursday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Wolverines meet the Nooksack Valley Pioneers (Everson, WA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, March 22. Friday Harbor will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Pioneers enter the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 12-6 league win over Sehome (Bellingham, WA).

The Storm (0-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Sehome (Bellingham, WA). The Mariners enter the 1A/2A/3A Northwest challenge with a 1-3 record. In their last challenge, Sehome was routed by Shorecrest (Seattle, WA), 10-8, in a non-league challenge.
