The Kennedy Cougars softball team scored 21 runs and held the visiting Morris Jeff Pelicans to 5 in the Cougars league win on Thursday.

The Cougars now sport a 2-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host De La Salle for a 4A District 9 battle on Tuesday, March 25.

With the loss, Morris Jeff moves to 0-4 on the season. The Pelicans host Ursuline Academy (New Orleans, LA) to confront the Lions in a 3A District 9 battle on Tuesday, March 25. The Lions come into the battle with a record of 4-7. Ursuline Academy lost 15-0 in their recent non-league battle against Central Lafourche (Raceland, LA)
