The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Pottsville Apaches (Pottsville, AR) and the visiting Lamar Warriors (Lamar, AR), observed Pottsville's softball team notch a victory over Lamar by a tally of 12-2.

The Apaches (6-3) will now prepare for their bout against Mena (Mena, AR). The Bearcats go into the 4A Region 4 bout with a 5-2 record. In their last bout, Mena gained a win over Clarksville (Clarksville, AR), 10-0, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Warriors battle the Booneville Bearcats (Booneville, AR) in a 3A Region 4 bout, on Tuesday, April 1. Lamar will attempt to advance on its 1-5 season record.
