In Thursday's non-league match, the host String Theory softball team scored a tight 19-12 win over the Thomas A. Edison Owls.
The (3-1) will now prepare for their match against Philadelphia Academy Charter (Philadelphia, PA). The Chargers come into the PPL - Independence match with a 1-0 record. In their last match, Philadelphia Academy Charter nipped Science Leadership Academy (Philadelphia, PA), 17-2, in a league match.
