The Kewanee Boilermakers baseball squad (Kewanee, IL), was overwhelmed 17-2 in Friday's non-league contest with the visiting St. Bede Bruins (Peru, IL)

With the triumph, St. Bede moves its record to 2-1 on the season. The Bruins host Ottawa (Ottawa, IL) to confront the Pirates in a non-league contest on Saturday, March 21. The Pirates enter the battle with a record of 0-0. Ottawa 6-6 in their recent non-league battle against Sandwich (Sandwich, IL)

Next, the Boilermakers face the Sterling Golden Warriors (Sterling, IL) in a non-league battle, on Monday, March 23. Kewanee will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record.
