The Bennett Clippers softball team (Salisbury, MD), was routed 11-2 in Friday's non-league bout with the host Arcadia Firebirds (Oak Hall, VA)

The Firebirds (1-0) will now prepare for their bout against Nansemond River (Suffolk, VA). The Warriors go into the non-league game with a 0-1 record. In their last game, Nansemond River was routed by Western Branch (Chesapeake, VA), 9-1, in a league game.

The Clippers now hold a 0-1 record. They play next when they host North Caroline for a non-league game on Monday, March 23. Bennett will play a Bulldogs squad coming off a 5-4 non-league loss to Chopticon (Morganza, MD). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-1.
