Tennessee High School Softball - South Pittsburg bounces Ooltewah

The South Pittsburg Pirates (South Pittsburg, TN) softball routed the host Ooltewah Owls (Ooltewah, TN), 8-3 in Friday's non-league outing.

The Pirates now sport a 3-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Plainview for a non-league outing on Saturday, March 21. South Pittsburg will encounter a Bears team coming off a 12-1 league win over Kate Duncan Smith DAR (Grant, AL). The Bears record now stands at 9-0.

With the loss, Ooltewah drops to 10-3 on the campaign. The Owls travel to Girls Preparatory School (Chattanooga, TN) to clash with the Bruisers in a non-league test on Saturday, March 21. The Bruisers go into the test with a record of 6-2. Girls Preparatory School won 12-0 in their recent non-league test against Cleveland (Cleveland, TN)
