The Pendleton County Wildcats baseball team scored 16 runs and limited the host Holmes Bulldogs to 1 in the Wildcats non-league victory on Monday.
The Wildcats (1-1) will now prepare for their match against Holy Cross (Covington, KY). The Indians go into the non-league match with a 0-2 record.
The Bulldogs (0-1) will now prepare for their match against Bracken County (Brooksville, KY). The Polar Bears go into the non-league match with a 2-3 record. In their last match, Bracken County was overwhelmed by Bourbon County (Paris, KY), 9-3, in a non-league match.
