The Lockport Porters lacrosse team scored 9 points and held the host Minooka Indians to 3 in the Porters league win on Monday.
The Porters (1-0) will now prepare for their game against Mother McAuley (Chicago, IL). The Mighty Macs go into the game with a 0-1 record. In their last game, Mother McAuley was overwhelmed by Neuqua Valley (Naperville, IL), 10-5, in a non-league game.
The Indians (0-1) will now prepare for their game against Lincoln-Way Central (New Lenox, IL). The Knights go into the non-league game with a 1-1 record.
