The crowd at Monday's non-league test between the Alcovy Tigers (Covington, GA) and the visiting Salem Seminoles (Conyers, GA), saw Alcovy's soccer squad get by Salem by a count of 3-2.
The Tigers now hold a 1-9 record. They play next when they travel to Walnut Grove for a non-league test on Tuesday, March 22. Alcovy will meet a Warriors squad coming off a 2-0 league win over Clarke Central (Athens, GA). The Warriors record now stands at 6-5.
With the loss, Salem drops to 2-6 on the season. The Seminoles host Sandy Creek (Tyrone, GA) to meet the Patriots in a AAA Region 5 test on Wednesday, March 23. The Patriots come into the test with a record of 6-6. Sandy Creek won 10-0 in their recent league test against Cedar Grove (Ellenwood, GA)
