Darlington Tigers (Rome, GA) fans were pleased Monday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Christian Heritage Lions (Dalton, GA), 1-0 in a league challenge.
Next, the Tigers confront the Walker Wolverines (Marietta, GA) in a A Private Area 7 challenge, on Tuesday, March 22. Darlington will attempt to better on its 3-6 season record. The Wolverines enter the challenge with a 2-7 record after their 8-1 non-league loss to Savannah Arts Academy (Savannah, GA).
The Lions now have a 0-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Walker for a A Private Area 7 challenge on Thursday, March 24. Christian Heritage will confront a Wolverines team coming off a 2-0 league win over Darlington (Rome, GA). The Wolverines record now stands at 3-7.
