The Mesquite Wildcats crushed the visiting Buckeye Hawks baseball team by a count of 28-7 in Monday's non-league bout.
The Wildcats now possess a 5-2 record. They take the field next when they host Saguaro for a bout on Tuesday, March 22. Mesquite will face a Sabercats team coming off a 7-2 non-league loss to Chaparral (Scottsdale, AZ). The Sabercats record now stands at 0-1.
Next, the Hawks face the Youngker Roughriders (Buckeye, AZ) in a bout, on Tuesday, March 22. Buckeye will attempt to move on its 0-5 season record. The Roughriders enter the bout with a 1-1 record after their 9-0 non-league win over Lee Williams (Kingman, AZ).
