Virginia High School Lacrosse - Meridian overwhelms Liberty

The Meridian Mustangs lacrosse team scored 11 points and limited the host Liberty Eagles to 6 in the Mustangs league triumph on Monday.

The Mustangs (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against Potomac Falls (Sterling, VA). The Panthers come into the non-league contest with a 1-1 record. In their last contest, Potomac Falls was overwhelmed by Dominion (Sterling, VA), 17-5, in a non-league contest.

The Eagles now own a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Orange County for a non-league contest on Thursday, March 24. Liberty will confront a Fighting Hornets squad coming off a 11-10 non-league win over Eastern View (Culpeper, VA). The Fighting Hornets record now stands at 1-0.
