The Andrew Jackson Volunteers softball team scored 4 runs and limited the host Marlboro County Bulldogs to 3 in the Volunteers non-league triumph on Monday.
With the triumph, Andrew Jackson moves its record to 2-3 on the year. The Volunteers host Buford (Lancaster, SC) to clash with the Yellowjackets in a AA Region 4 game on Friday, April 1. The Yellowjackets come into the game with a record of 4-3.
In their next game, the Bulldogs clash with the Manning Monarchs (Manning, SC) in a AAA Region 6 game, on Tuesday, March 22. Marlboro County will attempt to move on its 3-4 season record.
