The Byron Tigers softball team scored 12 runs and limited the host Indian Creek Timberwolves to 7 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Monday.
With the triumph, Byron improves its record to 2-0 on the year. The Tigers host Oregon (Oregon, IL) to clash with the Hawks in a Big Northern game on Monday, April 4. The Hawks come into the game with a record of 4-0.
In their next game, the Timberwolves clash with the Ottawa Pirates (Ottawa, IL) in a non-league game, on Wednesday, March 30. Indian Creek will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record.
