East Forsyth Eagles (Kernersville, NC) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the host South Stokes Sauras (Walnut Cove, NC), 7-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Eagles now own a 6-1 record. They take the field next when they host Glenn for a Central Piedmont 4A challenge on Thursday, March 24. East Forsyth will battle a Bobcats squad coming off a 7-0 league win over Mount Tabor (Winston-Salem, NC). The Bobcats record now stands at 4-4.

With the loss, South Stokes falls to 8-1 on the campaign. The Sauras travel to East Wilkes (Ronda, NC) to battle the Cardinals in a Northwest 1A challenge on Tuesday, March 22. The Cardinals enter the challenge with a record of 5-0. East Wilkes won 15-2 in their recent league challenge against Elkin (Elkin, NC)
