In Monday's non-league contest, the Highlands Bluebirds (Fort Thomas, KY) softball team held off the visiting Harrison County Thorobreds (Cynthiana, KY), by a margin of 4-3.
With the triumph, Highlands moves its record to 1-0 on the year. The Bluebirds host Campbell County (Alexandria, KY) to play the Camels in a non-league contest on Tuesday, March 22. The Camels come into the contest with a record of 1-0. Campbell County won 19-0 in their recent non-league contest against St. Henry (Erlanger, KY)
In their next game, the Thorobreds play the Great Crossing (Georgetown, KY) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, March 22. Harrison County will attempt to move on its 1-1 season record.
