In Monday's non-league contest, the Highlands Bluebirds (Fort Thomas, KY) softball team held off the visiting Harrison County Thorobreds (Cynthiana, KY), by a margin of 4-3.

With the triumph, Highlands moves its record to 1-0 on the year. The Bluebirds host Campbell County (Alexandria, KY) to play the Camels in a non-league contest on Tuesday, March 22.
