In Monday's non-league contest, the Richards Bulldogs (Oak Lawn, IL) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Rich Township Raptors (Olympia Fields, IL), by a margin of 18-0.
With the triumph, Richards moves its record to 1-1 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to Nazareth Academy (LaGrange Park, IL) to play the Roadrunners in a non-league contest on Saturday, March 26. The Roadrunners come into the contest with a record of 2-1.
In their next game, the Raptors play the Joliet Central Steelmen (Joliet, IL) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, March 22. Rich Township will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record. The Steelmen come into the contest with a 1-1 record after their 12-2 non-league loss to Wilmington (Wilmington, IL).
