In Tuesday's non-league game, the visiting Catholic-B.R. Bears baseball team scored a tight 4-1 victory over the Pope John Paul II Jaguars.
The Bears (20-1) will now prepare for their game against Mandeville (Mandeville, LA). The Skippers go into the non-league game with a 4-7 record.
The Jaguars (13-3) will now prepare for their game against Archbishop Shaw (Marrero, LA). The Eagles go into the non-league game with a 4-12 record. In their last game, Archbishop Shaw tipped Hahnville (Boutte, LA), 3-0, in a non-league game.
