Cardinal Gibbons Crusaders (Raleigh, NC) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad overcome the host Millbrook Wildcats (Raleigh, NC), 9-2 in a non-league battle.
The Crusaders now have a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they host Leesville Road for a battle on Wednesday, March 22. Cardinal Gibbons will clash with a Pride squad coming off a 7-3 non-league win over Green Hope (Cary, NC). The Pride record now stands at 1-0.
In their next game, the Wildcats clash with the Chapel Hill Tigers (Chapel Hill, NC) in a non-league battle, on Monday, March 27. Millbrook will attempt to move on its 3-2 season record. The Tigers come into the battle with a 1-1 record after their 11-4 non-league win over Millbrook (Raleigh, NC).
