Illinois High School Soccer - Mascoutah held off by Althoff Catholic

In Tuesday's non-league battle, the visiting Althoff Catholic Crusaders soccer squad scored a close 1-0 triumph over the Mascoutah Indians.
The Crusaders (2-2) will now prepare for their battle against Mt. Vernon (Mt. Vernon, IL). The Rams come into the South Seven bout with a 0-3 record. In their last bout, Mt. Vernon was nipped by Centralia (Centralia, IL), 6-1, in a league bout.
In their next game, the Indians battle the Granite City Warriors (Granite City, IL) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, March 23. Mascoutah will attempt to move on its 0-3 season record. The Warriors enter the bout with a 2-0 record after their 4-0 non-league win over Belleville West (Belleville, IL).
