Rocky Mount Academy Eagles (Rocky Mount, NC) fans were thrilled Tuesday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting St. Thomas More Academy Chancellors (Raleigh, NC), 2-1 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Eagles confront the Epiphany Falcons (New Bern, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, March 23. Rocky Mount Academy will attempt to better on its 6-0 season record. The Falcons enter the challenge with a 0-6 record after their 3-0 league loss to Greenfield (Wilson, NC).
The Chancellors now have a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they host Grace Christian for a non-league challenge on Friday, March 24. St. Thomas More Academy will battle a Crusaders team coming off a 9-0 non-league win over Fayetteville HomeSchool (Fayetteville, NC). The Crusaders record now stands at 4-1.
