Spectators at Tuesday's league match between the Curie Condors (Chicago, IL) and the host Kenwood Broncos (Chicago, IL), witnessed Curie's softball squad tip Kenwood by a count of 14-11.

The Condors now sport a 1-0 record. They play next when they travel to Goode STEM Academy for a non-league match on Wednesday, March 22. Curie will meet a Knights squad coming off a 7-3 non-league loss to Thornton Fractional North (Calumet City, IL). The Knights record now stands at 0-1.

With the loss, Kenwood moves to 0-1 on the season. The Broncos travel to Solorio (Chicago, IL) to meet the Sun Warriors in a Chicago Public Black match on Thursday, March 23. The Sun Warriors go into the match with a record of 0-0.
