The Riverside Rangers (El Paso, TX) softball routed the host Fabens Wildcats (Fabens, TX), 25-5 in Tuesday's non-league bout.

The Rangers (9-8) will now prepare for their bout against Austin (El Paso, TX). The Panthers go into the 4A Region I District 1 bout with a 3-12 record. In their last bout, Austin toppled Irvin (El Paso, TX), 35-26, in a league bout.

The Wildcats now possess a 7-4 record. They play next when they travel to San Elizario for a 4A Region I District 2 bout on Friday, March 24. Fabens will confront a Eagles squad coming off a 21-0 non-league win over El Paso Leadership Academy East (El Paso, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 11-3.
