The Scott Skyhawks softball team scored 8 runs and limited the host Point Pleasant Big Blacks to 5 in the Skyhawks non-league triumph on Tuesday.

With the triumph, Scott moves its record to 4-0 on the year. The Skyhawks host Logan (Logan, WV) to play the Wildcats in a Cardinal game on Wednesday, March 22. The Wildcats come into the game with a record of 3-0. Logan won 9-1 in their recent league game against Poca (Poca, WV)

In their next game, the Big Blacks play the Parkersburg South Patriots (Parkersburg, WV) in a non-league game, on Thursday, March 23. Point Pleasant will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record. The Patriots come into the game with a 3-0 record after their 17-5 non-league win over Huntington (Huntington, WV).
