Texas High School Softball - Rivercrest bounces Saltillo

Rivercrest Rebels (Bogata, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Saltillo Lions (Saltillo, TX), 23-2 in a league challenge.
The Rebels now own a 7-6 record. They take the field next when they host Sulphur Bluff for a 1A Region III District 17 challenge on Saturday, March 25.
With the loss, Saltillo falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Yantis (Yantis, TX) to battle the Owls in a 1A Region III District 17 challenge on Friday, March 24. The Owls enter the challenge with a record of 0-0.
