The Ariton Purple Cats crushed the host W.S. Neal Eagles baseball team by a count of 16-1 in Thursday's non-league bout.

The Purple Cats now possess a 11-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Greenville for a non-league bout on Friday, March 22. Ariton will face a Tigers team coming off a 13-9 non-league win over Pike County (Brundidge, AL). The Tigers record now stands at 6-4.
