In Thursday's non-league game, the visiting Northeast Bearcats baseball team scored a nice 13-2 victory over the Brookfield Bulldogs.
The Bearcats (2-0) will now prepare for their game against Schuyler County (Lancaster, MO). The Rams go into the non-league game with a 0-2 record. In their last game, Schuyler County was overwhelmed by Clark County (Kahoka, MO), 2-1, in a non-league game.
The Bulldogs (0-3) will now prepare for their game against Centralia (Centralia, MO). The Panthers go into the non-league game with a 3-1 record. In their last game, Centralia overcame Fayette (Fayette, MO), 21-2, in a non-league game.
