The Buffalo Bison got by the visiting Scott Skyhawks baseball team by a count of 7-6 in Thursday's non-league bout.

The Bison now possess a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Gilmer County for a non-league game on Friday, March 22. Buffalo will clash with a Titans team coming off a 4-2 league loss to South Harrison (Lost Creek, WV). The Titans record now stands at 4-1.

The Skyhawks (4-2) will now prepare for their game against South Charleston (South Charleston, WV). The Black Eagles go into the non-league game with a 0-2 record. In their last game, South Charleston was edged by Spring Valley (Huntington, WV), 11-0, in a league game.
