The Nashville Hornets baseball team scored 10 runs and limited the visiting Carbondale Terriers to 2 in the Hornets non-league victory on Thursday.
The Hornets (5-0) will now prepare for their match against Freeburg (Freeburg, IL). The Midgets go into the non-league match with a 2-1 record. In their last match, Freeburg gained a win over Wesclin (Trenton, IL), 14-1, in a non-league match.
The Terriers (1-3) will now prepare for their match against Cobden (Cobden, IL). The Appleknockers go into the non-league match with a 0-5 record. In their last match, Cobden was overwhelmed by Century (Ullin, IL), 6-5, in a league match.
