The Community Trojans baseball team scored 9 runs and limited the visiting Marion County Mustangs to 7 in the Trojans non-league victory on Thursday.
The Trojans (2-1) will now prepare for their match against Madison (Madison, MO). The Panthers go into the Class 1 District 12 match with a 0-3 record.
The Mustangs (2-1) will now prepare for their match against Atlanta (Atlanta, MO). The Hornets go into the Class 1 District 13 match with a 1-1 record. In their last match, Atlanta edged Highland (Ewing, MO), 5-1, in a non-league match.
