The Hedgesville Eagles crushed the visiting Mountain Ridge Miners baseball team by a count of 15-5 in Thursday's non-league bout.

The Eagles now possess a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they host Martinsburg for a Eastern Panhandle bout on Friday, March 22. Hedgesville will face a Bulldogs team coming off a 8-5 non-league win over Frankfort (Ridgeley, WV). The Bulldogs record now stands at 4-0.

Next, the Miners face the Fort Hill Sentinels (Cumberland, MD) in a Western Maryland bout, on Friday, March 22. Mountain Ridge will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record. The Sentinels enter the bout with a 0-1 record after their 5-3 league loss to Southern (Oakland, MD).
