The Central Academy Cougars soccer team scored 4 points and limited the host West Cabarrus Wolverines to 2 in the Cougars non-league victory on Thursday.

Next, the Cougars face the Piedmont Panthers (Monroe, NC) in a Rocky River 2A/3A contest, on Monday, March 25. Central Academy will attempt to better on its 2-6 season record. The Panthers enter the contest with a 6-2 record after their 10-1 league win over Forest Hills (Marshville, NC).

The Wolverines now have a 1-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Olympic for a non-league contest on Friday, March 22. West Cabarrus will face a Trojans team coming off a 3-0 league win over Harding University (Charlotte, NC). The Trojans record now stands at 1-6.
