In Thursday's league battle, the host Cherokee Bluff Bears soccer squad scored a close 6-1 win over the Johnson Knights.
The Bears (11-3) will now prepare for their battle against East Hall (Gainesville, GA). The Vikings go into the 4A Region 8 battle with a 1-9 record. In their last battle, East Hall was overwhelmed by North Hall (Gainesville, GA), 7-2, in a league battle.
The Knights (8-3) will now prepare for their battle against Walnut Grove (Walnut Grove, GA). The Warriors go into the 4A Region 8 battle with a 9-5 record. In their last battle, Walnut Grove nipped George Walton Academy (Monroe, GA), 5-1, in a non-league battle.
