East Moline United Panthers (East Moline, IL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Riverdale Rams (Port Byron, IL), 15-10 in a non-league challenge.

The Panthers now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Galesburg for a challenge on Thursday, March 28.

With the loss, Riverdale falls to 1-1 on the campaign. The Rams travel to Bureau Valley (Manlius, IL) to battle the Storm in a non-league challenge on Friday, March 29. The Storm enter the challenge with a record of 0-0.
