The Hilton Head Island Seahawks triumphed over the host James Island Trojans lacrosse team by a score of 16-9 in Thursday's league match.
With the win, Hilton Head Island upgrades its record to 8-3 on the season. The Seahawks host Bishop England (Charleston, SC) to play the Battling Bishops in a 4A-1A Lower match on Saturday, March 23. The Battling Bishops go into the match with a record of 7-3. Bishop England won 12-4 in their recent non-league match against Porter-Gaud (Charleston, SC)
With the defeat, James Island drops to 4-6 on the season. The Trojans travel to St. James (Murrells Inlet, SC) to play the Sharks in a non-league match on Monday, March 25. The Sharks go into the match with a record of 4-7. St. James lost 10-8 in their recent league outing against Carolina Forest (Myrtle Beach, SC)
