In Thursday's non-league battle, the host R.J. Reynolds Demons lacrosse squad scored a tight 16-11 victory over the Page Pirates.
Coming up next, the Demons clash with the Davie War Eagles (Mocksville, NC) in a Central Piedmont battle, on Friday, March 22. R.J. Reynolds will attempt to advance on its 6-1 season record. The War Eagles come into the battle with a 4-4 record after their 13-6 non-league loss to Northwest Guilford (Greensboro, NC).
The Pirates now own a 1-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Forsyth Country Day for a non-league battle on Tuesday, April 2. Page will clash with a Furies squad coming off a 8-7 non-league loss to Bishop McGuinness (Kernersville, NC). The Furies record now stands at 4-3.
