The Bath County Wildcats routed the visiting Nicholas County Bluejackets softball squad by a final score of 20-1 in Thursday's non-league battle.

The Wildcats (7-1) will now prepare for their battle against East Jessamine (Nicholasville, KY). The Jaguars go into the non-league battle with a 6-2 record. In their last battle, East Jessamine notched a victory over West Jessamine (Nicholasville, KY), 1-0, in a league battle.

The Bluejackets now possess a 3-2 record. They play next when they host Mason County for a non-league battle on Friday, March 22. Nicholas County will confront a Royals squad coming off a 16-2 non-league loss to Campbell County (Alexandria, KY). The Royals record now stands at 2-2.
