The Maize Eagles softball team scored 6 runs and limited the visiting Bishop Carroll Golden Eagles to 5 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Thursday.
With the triumph, Maize improves its record to 4-0 on the year. The Eagles host Andover (Andover, KS) to clash with the Trojans in a non-league game on Tuesday, April 2. The Trojans come into the game with a record of 2-1.
In their next game, the Golden Eagles clash with the West Pioneers (Wichita, KS) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, March 26. Bishop Carroll will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record. The Pioneers come into the game with a 0-2 record after their 10-9 non-league loss to Sunrise Christian Academy (Bel Aire, KS).
