Naperville Central Redhawks (Naperville, IL) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Bolingbrook Raiders (Bolingbrook, IL), 11-2 in a non-league challenge.
The Redhawks now sport a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they host Hinsdale South for a non-league challenge on Monday, April 1. Naperville Central will face a Hornets squad coming off a 12-0 non-league win over Ridgewood (Norridge, IL). The Hornets record now stands at 3-2.
With the loss, Bolingbrook falls to 1-4 on the campaign. The Raiders travel to Bremen (Midlothian, IL) to face the Braves in a non-league challenge on Monday, March 25. The Braves enter the challenge with a record of 1-1.
