In Thursday's league contest, the Northlake Christian Wolverines (Covington, LA) softball team held off the visiting French Settlement Lions (French Settlement, LA), by a margin of 7-6.
With the triumph, Northlake Christian moves its record to 7-5 on the year. The Wolverines host Kenner Discovery Health Sciences Academy (Kenner, LA) to play the Swamp Owls in a non-league contest on Monday, March 25. The Swamp Owls come into the contest with a record of 8-8.
In their next game, the Lions play the Doyle Tigers (Livingston, LA) in a non-league contest, on Monday, March 25. French Settlement will attempt to move on its 7-8 season record. The Tigers come into the contest with a 16-4 record after their 11-3 non-league win over Northshore (Slidell, LA).
