North Carolina High School Softball - Smoky Mountain bounces Hayesville

The Smoky Mountain Mustangs (Sylva, NC) softball routed the visiting Hayesville Yellowjackets (Hayesville, NC), 14-9 in Thursday's non-league bout.

The Mustangs (2-5) will now prepare for their bout against East Henderson (East Flat Rock, NC). The Eagles go into the Mountain Seven 3A bout with a 0-9 record. In their last bout, East Henderson was routed by Hendersonville (Hendersonville, NC), 11-2, in a non-league bout.

The Yellowjackets now possess a 1-4 record. They play next when they travel to Hiwassee Dam for a Smoky Mountain 1A bout on Tuesday, March 26.
