Jonesboro Eagles (Jonesboro, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Texas Wind (Waco, TX), 16-4 in a non-league challenge.
The Eagles now own a 4-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Covington for a 1A Region II District 12 challenge on Friday, March 22.
With the loss, Texas Wind falls to 4-8 on the campaign. The travel to CenTex HomeSchool (Temple, TX) to battle the Chargers in a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 23. The Chargers enter the challenge with a record of 0-0.
