In Thursday's non-league contest, the Olympia Spartans (Stanford, IL) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Limestone Rockets (Bartonville, IL), by a margin of 12-2.
With the triumph, Olympia moves its record to 7-0 on the year. The Spartans host Bloomington (Bloomington, IL) to play the Purple Raiders in a non-league contest on Monday, March 25. The Purple Raiders come into the contest with a record of 0-2. Bloomington lost 10-1 in their recent non-league contest against Tri-Valley (Downs, IL)
In their next game, the Rockets play the Richwoods Knights (Peoria, IL) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, March 26. Limestone will attempt to move on its 2-1 season record.
