The Braves now sport a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Teutopolis for a non-league match on Friday, March 22. Mt. Zion will face a Wooden Shoes squad coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to Charleston (Charleston, IL). The Wooden Shoes record now stands at 3-1.

With the loss, Maroa-Forsyth falls to 2-3 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Clinton (Clinton, IL) to clash with the Maroons in a non-league test on Friday, March 22. The Maroons come into the test with a record of 3-3. Clinton won 24-3 in their recent non-league test against MacArthur (Decatur, IL)
