California High School Softball - St. Ignatius College Preparatory bounces Mercy

March 21, 2024: Burlingame, CA 94010

Spectators at Thursday's non-league match between the St. Ignatius College Preparatory Wildcats (San Francisco, CA) and the host Mercy Bears (Burlingame, CA), witnessed St. Ignatius College Preparatory's softball squad tip Mercy by a count of 6-2.

The Wildcats now sport a 4-5 record. They play next when they travel to South San Francisco for a non-league match on Monday, March 25. St. Ignatius College Preparatory will face a Warriors squad coming off a 26-23 league loss to Terra Nova (Pacifica, CA). The Warriors record now stands at 0-7.

With the loss, Mercy moves to 5-4 on the season. The Bears travel to Mills (Millbrae, CA) to face the Vikings in a non-league match on Tuesday, March 26. The Vikings go into the match with a record of 4-3. Mills won 9-0 in their recent league match against Jefferson (Daly City, CA)
