Pennsylvania High School Softball - Purchase Line topped by Portage

March 21, 2024: Portage, PA 15946

In Thursday's league contest, the Portage Mustangs (Portage, PA) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Purchase Line Red Dragons (Commodore, PA), by a margin of 16-5.

With the triumph, Portage moves its record to 1-0 on the year. The Mustangs travel to Cambria Heights (Patton, PA) to play the Highlanders in a Heritage contest on Tuesday, April 2. The Highlanders come into the contest with a record of 1-1.

In their next game, the Red Dragons play the Conemaugh Valley Blue Jays (Johnstown, PA) in a Heritage contest, on Friday, March 22. Purchase Line will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record.
