North Carolina High School Softball - South Johnston bounces Princeton

March 21, 2024: Four Oaks, NC 27524

Spectators at Thursday's non-league match between the South Johnston Trojans (Four Oaks, NC) and the visiting Princeton Bulldogs (Princeton, NC), witnessed South Johnston's softball squad tip Princeton by a count of 10-4.

The Trojans now sport a 6-1 record. They play next when they host Southern Wayne for a Quad County 3A match on Friday, March 22. South Johnston will meet a Saints squad coming off a 4-3 non-league loss to Spring Creek (Seven Springs, NC). The Saints record now stands at 0-7.

With the loss, Princeton moves to 0-5 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to C.B. Aycock (Pikeville, NC) to meet the Golden Falcons in a non-league match on Monday, March 25. The Golden Falcons go into the match with a record of 3-6. C.B. Aycock won 17-2 in their recent league match against Fike (Wilson, NC)
